This Privacy Policy explains how WpPatrol (“WpPatrol,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a service operated by Tasyier International LLC, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our WordPress maintenance services, our website, and our client portal at portal.wppatrol.com (together, the “Services”).

This policy applies to visitors to our website, prospective clients, and clients who subscribe to or purchase our Services.

2. Who We Are

Tasyier International LLC, registered at 5203 Juan Tabo Blvd STE 2B, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87111, USA, operating as WpPatrol, is the data controller responsible for your personal data under this policy. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as one is not required for our current size and type of data processing under GDPR. 3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide directly

Account and registration details: name, email address, business name, billing address
Website access necessary to deliver the Services (WordPress admin credentials or scoped access, hosting/FTP access where applicable)
Payment information, processed via our payment processor, Stripe. WpPatrol does not store full card details on its own systems
Communications with us: support tickets, emails, chat messages, call notes where applicable

3.2 Information collected in the course of delivering the Services

Website content, database contents, media files, and backups of your WordPress site, to the extent necessary to perform maintenance, backups, security monitoring, and fixes
Technical logs relevant to uptime monitoring, security scanning, and update history
This data is processed in part through a third-party WordPress site management platform we use to deliver updates, monitoring, backups, and client reporting — see Section 5

3.3 Information collected automatically

IP address and approximate location, used to auto-detect currency and language on our website (with a manual switcher always available as an alternative). Currency detection is performed via a third-party IP geolocation lookup service (ipapi.co), which receives the visitor’s IP address to determine an approximate country
Standard technical data (browser type, device type, pages visited) via Google Analytics (GA4), only after you consent via our cookie banner where consent is required

Under Switzerland’s FADP and Canada’s PIPEDA, the equivalent principles apply: we collect and use personal data only for purposes that are identified, reasonable, and consented to or otherwise legally justified, and we do not use it for unrelated purposes without further consent.

5. Sharing and Third Parties

We share personal data only as necessary to deliver the Services, with:

Payment processing: Stripe
Hosting/infrastructure: Namecheap (portal.wppatrol.com)
Site management, monitoring, and backup platform: a third-party WordPress management platform we use to perform automated updates, uptime monitoring, security scanning, backups, and to generate client reports. Backups and related site data processed through this platform are stored on servers located within the EU.
Website analytics: Google (Google Analytics 4), only after consent
IP geolocation: ipapi.co, for currency detection only
Professional advisors (legal, accounting) where necessary
Authorities, where required by law

We do not sell personal data.

6. International Data Transfers

Because WpPatrol serves clients across the EU, UK, Switzerland, Canada, and the US, personal data may be transferred across borders, for example, to hosting or backup providers located outside a client’s home region. Notably, backups and related site data processed through our site management platform stay within the EU regardless of where the client is based, which reduces the international-transfer question for that specific data category. Where other data flows involve transferring data out of the EU/UK/Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent approved transfer mechanisms.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data and website backups for as long as your account is active, plus 60 days after cancellation to allow for account recovery, followed by deletion or anonymization, except where longer retention is required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion (“right to be forgotten” under GDPR/UK GDPR)
Restrict or object to certain processing
Receive your data in a portable format
